Over the last 15 years, Adam Blanchard has spent his career within the oil and gas industry and the energy distribution sector. An integral part of Blanchard’s drive and motivation is to consistently improve on environmental standards as well as the health and safety practices executed daily by the men and women of the workforce. Blanchard has made it his goal to develop a detailed understanding of new and innovative technologies as it relates to the various sectors of industry and infrastructure. Having identified numerous inefficiencies in traditional project execution, Blanchard is constantly developing fiscally responsible solutions for replacing obsolete and potentially dangerous practices. Blanchard has been driven to change industry standards for the better, for everyone.
With over 10 years working in the oil, gas and renewable energy sectors across Australia, Jake moved to join the Tesla Gigafactory 1 in Reno, Nevada as Production Supervisor. Jake filled a key role with the Model 3 launch and ramped up production in his department to 5,000 car sets per week. With his lean manufacturing experience, strong leadership and team building background learned at Tesla, Jake is an invaluable member of the SLS team. Committed to his role as Director of International Sales, he is here to deliver the end user value SLS products offer our clients by maximizing efficiencies and improving safety practices.

For the last decade, Dean Paquette has been directly involved in the continuous improvement of health safety and environment in the oil and gas industry specifically mainline pipeline. Paquette spent most of his career as a project health safety and envioronment coordinator and supervisor. Taking on many roles, including but not limited to; HSE Advisor, HSE Investigator as well as HSE Damage and Prevention Officer. With a strong background as a supervisor and foreman in the excavation and construction fields, he has always brought a much-welcomed insight and approach to the overall betterment of the pipeline industry. In addition to his supervisory and management skills, he is an experienced heavy equipment instructor. Fully bilingual in English and French, Paquette has worked all over Canada in a variety of conditions and has worked directly with Indigenous First Names members.
Lesley Kaross, Safe Locate Solutions Inc.’s Director of Marketing, grew up in a small town six hours north of Toronto. After discovering her passion for marketing and creative writing, Lesley pursued an education in public relations at Humber College in Toronto where she graduated with honors receiving her advanced diploma. After interning at a top and notable Toronto agency, Lesley returned to her hometown of Elliot Lake where she worked to revitalize the downtown core after the tragic mall collapse of 2012. Since then, Lesley has worked as a Sales & Marketing Assistant at the City of Elliot Lake, Business Development Advisor to North Bay businesses, and most recently, has worked as a manager for the Temiskaming Hospital Foundation. Lesley is also the owner operator of “Prominent” a full-service public relations agency, in Temiskaming Shores where she was approached by Safe Locate Solutions Inc. After cultivating a relationship with Lesley, Safe Locate Solutions team knew that there was no one better suited for their director role than her. Lesley attributes her success in the public relations and marketing industry to her forward-thinking and creative abilities.
Mr. Daniel Paquette has worked as a Superintendent and a Heavy Equipment Operator in the pipeline construction industry for over forty years. His pipeline experience includes a range of high-pressure energy lines installed all over the world. He has extensive knowledge of major projects and mainline operations located in Canada. Additionally, Daniel was a key member of a water concrete pipeline(s) installation program located at a water treatment plant and pumping station in North Africa, Algeria. In addition, Daniel has extensive mining experience working the sector on location in Northern Ontario. From working with engines and framework at Mack Truck, to “steaking” claims in the seclusion of the Canadian wilderness. Daniel is a key asset to the Safe Locate Team, bringing years of industry experience to an innovative team. His positive attitude and work ethic are a welcomed contribution to entire sector. Daniel’s resourcefulness and ability to adapt to change is admirable. Daniel has spent his life leading the path for innovative technology companies, such as Safe Locate Solutions.
Franky Sanche became a web developer/designer after exploring several different facets of the design world. He has a varied educational background in fields such as Furniture Design, 2D Animation, Interactive Media and Web Development. He spends the majority of his free time writing music, learning new web based technologies or illustrating. He is from Elliot Lake, Ontario, but has called Toronto home for the past several years.
